OUR HISTORY
Est. 1975
Founded as a family-owned business, 4U Cleaner/Degreaser (4U) was created in 1975 for the industrial and aerospace industries. 4U filled a gap in the market for an all-purpose cleaner that is safe for the environment, non-toxic and biodegradable. Independent laboratories and third party testing facilities have validated the safety and efficacy claims made by 4U. Over 45 years, our product sales have expanded with distribution across North America and additional market segments that include Marine, Automotive and RV. Environmentally safe, this water based cleaner consists of non-corrosive and rust inhibiting compounds making it safe and effective to cut through the toughest grease and grime.
In 2019, Metalube Corporation was acquired by the family-owned business Perryman Company. Metalube Corporation was renamed Metalube & Coating Services LLC, with the operations of 4U Products remaining in Corona, CA. The Perryman brand name is synonymous with our commitment to Quality and it is the mission of Metalube & Coating Services LLC to put quality first in every product we manufacture. 4U continues to set an example as one of the first environmentally friendly cleaners that delivers results.
QUALITY STATEMENT
Metalube was established for the purpose of being a supplier of lubricants and cleaners to the aerospace and metalworking industries.

Clean Air Solvent (CAS) Certified
MC509/4U has passed independent laboratory testing and chemical analysis performed by the South Coast AQMD Laboratory using the most recent version of South Coast AQMD Method 313, Determination of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) by Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS). South Coast AQMD’s clean air solvent certification complies with the VOC requirements of Rule 1122 - Solvent Degreasers and/or Rule 1171 – Solvent Cleaning Operations.

NSF has provided independent certification, testing, registration, and validation of MC509/4U in the following approved categories:
